Kerry Katona occupies a unique place in our popular culture, but not always for good reason. She's been branded a drug addict, an unfit mother and a reality TV star: much of her life has been in the public eye, from happy days in Atomic Kitten through to failed marriages and even childbirth; and more recently suffered her cocaine disgrace.
At rock bottom and facing the end of her career, Kerry invited documentary maker Lynn Alleway inside the Katona household to film life since the media circus had moved on and the lucrative contracts were gone. But Lynn found herself in the midst of a story which went on to play explosively in the press: a nasty divorce.
Kerry's second marriage to Mark Croft was often in the headlines but this searingly honest and sometimes remarkably candid portrayal of Kerry Katona's life goes behind the media hype and paparazzi pictures to provide an intimate look at Kerry's pursuit of fame, against a backdrop of the breakdown of her second marriage.
